Catherine (Honey) Phillips Fingelly, 90, Of Southport

SOUTHPORT, Conn. – Catherine (Honey) Phillips Fingelly, of Southport, died June 29 in her home. She was 90.

Fingelly was born March 27, 1925, in Waterbury, to Harry and Theofania Elia Phillips.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Nicholas, sister Dorothy Prifty and brothers Oscar and Philip Phillips.

Fingelly is survived by her daughters and sons-in law, Catherine and Erik Granneberg, Victoria and William Bodine of Fairfield, Va. and Geoffrey Woods of Fairfield, and Elizabeth and David Stauffer of Darien; eight grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, one niece, three nephews and many cousins, great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8 in Southport Congregational Church, 524 Pequot Ave.

Interment will be private in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
